Baseball America chose their All-Prospect Team for the month of August which included Las Vegas 51s outfielder Brandon Nimmo.
In the month of August, Nimmo hit .407/.474/.651 in 97 plate appearances for the 51s. He also had seven doubles, one triple, four home runs, 14 RBI and 21 runs scored. He did all this damage in a short period of time because he was on the major league roster until the 10th of August.
The great month has shot the young outfielder to the top of the Pacific Coast League leaderboard in average at .355 with only four games left in the season. He also leads the PCL with his .426 OBP while setting career highs in home runs (11), RBI (59) and doubles (25).
Nimmo is expected to rejoin the Mets after the 51s season ends on Monday.
