Columbia Fireflies reliever Adonis Uceta has been promoted to the St. Lucie Mets.
The 23 year old right-hander has appeared in 29 games this year pitching 43.0 innings. He is 4-0 with 11 saves, a 1.26 ERA, 0.907 WHIP, and a 9.8 K/9.
Uceta has not allowed an earned run over his last 21 appearances. He has been completely dominant limiting opposing batters to a .143 batting average, walking just eight, and striking out 33.
Recentky, Uceta was ranked by MMN as the Mets 40th best prospect.
